テレビドラマ版 ‘Mission Impossible’ の第４シリーズ第６話を観ていて、‘No thanks to you.’ という表現が出てきた。
‘Collins COBUILD Advanced Learner’s Dictionary’（iPadOS 版）によると以下のように書いてある。
If you say that something happens no thanks to a particular person or thing you mean that they did hot help it to happen, or that it happened in spite of them.
つまり ‘No thanks to you.’ は「あなたのせいです」と非難している意味になる。
